The University of Pretoria launched UP connect, an online portal made available to students and the university’s staff ,to continue with studies and work online.
The portal allows students and staff to access and carry out academic activities at no cost. The university announced the finalisation of the portal adding that the University will be starting their second semester through online teaching and learning methods from 4 May until 17 June.
To ensure that every student has access to e-learning, the University has also made the initiative to provide students who are in financial need and require devices with devices and have these delivered to them.
“We will continue finding innovative solutions to ensure the success of our students, and we will do everything possible to make sure that no sudent is disadvantaged ” , the university said.
