UCT students given option to drop courses for free

Published

The University of Cape Town has made the decision to allow students to drop their courses without any financial constraints.

With classes moving to online platforms, students had to learn new ways to cope in order to keep up with the 2020 academic year. Institutions have been working on providing devices and data to students to keep up with the academic programme.

Some students have expressed challenges with keeping up with the workload.

Students have until Friday (5 June 2020) to receive 100% fee rebate.

Students can consult with their course conveners if they are struggling with the workload.

All students who decide to apply must complete the application form available on the UCT News website
