Tourism, one of South Africa’s greatest accommodation destination

The Minister of Tourism Mmamolo Kubayi-Ngubane, took up day 2 of the department’s visit to the western cape to Handover of Grading Certificate at the Silo Hotel.

Taking a tour of the luxury 5 Star Silo Hotel in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This serves to recognise excellence, judging based on luxury in delivering both quality and service standards.

Tourism has played a significant part in connecting industries of the world and people around the world, to experience the unique aspects within the country.

In future,Deputy Minister of Tourism Amos Fish Mahlalela explained that they look to double the number of tourists visiting the country and working to have tourism as the driver of transformation which will not only strengthen the economy but will change the standards of tourist attractions and benefiting the citizens of this country, including the youth who are involved in all the department’s initiatives.
