The late Mlungisi Madonsela’s death to be commemorated by DUT Annually.

Following the shoot-out at the Durban University of Technology due to student protests, the 5^th of February has been declared by DUT’s Vice Chancellor Thandwa Mthembu, as a day of commemoration for slain student Mlungisi Madonsela.

“The 5^th of February, and the week of the loss of Mr. Madonsela will be commemorated by the University starting 2020,” said the Vice Chancellor.
