Application process clarified for new applicants

Students who are seeking to apply for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme were given clarity on the application process.

NSFAS took to Twitter on Monday to explain the application process and further highlighting that funding approval and continuation of funding is also based on academic performance.

Visit https://t.co/PYITlRu8eL and create a myNSFAS account and apply online by answering a few simple questions then upload the required supporting documents and that’s it, you have just unlocked your future. And you can do all that with a smartphone, tablet or computer.

To apply for #NSFAS2021 funding, you will need a functioning cellphone, a valid cellphone number and your own email address. If you don’t have a cell phone, you may use the cellphone number of a trusted guardian or relative, but it is best to have your own cellphone number.
