National Social Cohesion Compact Convention

The Department of Arts and Culture will host the Social Compact Convention as part of implementing the Social Cohesion and Nation Building Strategy at Saint George Hotel, Irene, Pretoria, on the 6-7 February 2020.

The Social Compact Convention will be held in a bid to collectively address existing issues faced within South Africa.

The Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa, MP, will host a media briefing to outline the purpose of the upcoming National Social Cohesion Compact Convention, addressing major issues in our country through a united effort.

Labour, business sector, government, civil society, and academics will be among those expected to attend the event.
