With universities moving to online platforms, the Department of Higher Education and Training has also started offering support to TVET colleges. TVET college students have now begun receiving learning resources online.
Universities have been put at the forefront of discussions in terms of finding lockdown solutions to carry on with academic activities, not much has been said about TVET colleges.
One of the plans put forward by the department is the new online portal for TVET learner support, which allows students to access NC (V) and NATED Report 191 lecture videos, radio podcasts and learning material that will be uploaded daily to help prepare for national exams.
