The Entrepreneurship development in Higher Education( EDHE) programme will be hosting its third annual national EDHE Lekgotla, a four-day event where leaders who have taken the world of entrepreneurship will be gathered.
The event will take place at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC), where leaders from various universities will be looking into entrepreneurship through the arts .
Student entrepreneurs and TVET colleges will also get a chance to dive into the the possibilities and successes of entrepreneurship in the field of Arts, from the latest trends to developments.
From the 25th to the 28th of June 2019, leaders in entrepreneurship at universities will introduce the “studentprenuers” to the success and benefits of fostering a collaboration with regard to entrepreneurship in Higher Education.
Taking that graduates encounter issues due to being unemployed, such collaborations create platforms where studentprenuers can venture into entrepreneurship- all to the benefit of South African universities, students, the economy and at the same time ensuring that, graduates are equipped with skills enough to see them develop themselves and contribute towards economic development.
